Acceptable Use Policy

CrecyStudio builds websites, web applications, and automation systems for legitimate businesses. This policy defines the project categories we won't accept, regardless of budget or timeline.

Content and projects we won't build

  • Sites or systems designed to deceive users — fake review platforms, phishing pages, impersonation sites, or anything intended to defraud.
  • Spam infrastructure — bulk email senders, SMS blasters, or any system designed for unsolicited mass outreach.
  • Any content that sexualises minors, promotes trafficking, or facilitates exploitation of any kind.
  • Malware, exploit kits, surveillance tools, or software designed to access systems without authorisation.
  • Platforms facilitating illegal gambling, unlicensed financial services, or pyramid and Ponzi schemes.
  • Projects whose purpose is to evade law enforcement, launder money, or obscure the origin of funds.
  • Sites that reproduce, resell, or redistribute copyrighted content without a valid license.
  • Any project where the brief, client identity, or stated business cannot be independently verified.

How we screen projects

  • All custom projects require a discovery call or detailed intake — we do not start work on anonymous briefs.
  • We verify that the stated business exists and that the contact is affiliated with it.
  • We decline projects where payment comes from an entity unrelated to the stated client.
  • We decline rush requests that bypass the scoping process — urgency without a brief is the most common pattern in fraudulent engagements.
  • We reserve the right to decline any project at the discovery stage without explanation.

Discovery during a project

If we discover that a project is being used for a prohibited purpose — whether stated in the original brief or revealed mid-engagement — we will terminate the contract immediately. Work completed to date will be billed. No further deliverables will be released.

Third-party liability

CrecyStudio builds to the brief provided by the client. The client is solely responsible for ensuring their use of the deliverables complies with all applicable laws and regulations. CrecyStudio is not liable for any harm caused by a client's use or misuse of delivered work.

Use of our systems

Access to our client workspace, intake forms, and project portal is granted solely for legitimate project use. Attempts to probe, reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse CrecyStudio's own systems will result in immediate access revocation and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Reporting concerns

If you believe a CrecyStudio deliverable is being misused, or if you have concerns about a project brief, email hello@crecystudio.com. We take all reports seriously and respond within 48 hours.
